Oxidised Silver

Jewellers expose silver to a chemical process that darkens its surface, creating an antique or tarnished look. The result is a blackened layer of silver sulphide. Oxidised silver offers a vintage, rustic appearance and requires less maintenance. Over time, the oxidation can fade, needing reapplication.
